Southport Group Carol service on Sunday 9th December .

Our Provincial Grand Master, RW Bro Peter Connolly, attended the Southport Group Carol service on Sunday
9th December 2012. He was privileged to be accompanied by many Mark masons in their regalia, whose
turn it was this year to take and present the collection.

Masons

The service was at Emmanuel Church, Southport, where a number of masons are  parishioners or  members
of the choir, including the Crucifer, our own W.Bro. Chris Lee (P.Prov.AGDC) who had 3 roles to play:

First as a member of Friendship Lodge of MMM, 2549.

Secondly as a member of the choir, with his wife
Jean, who both sang in the solo choir items.

And thirdly as members of the Marshside Brass Band,
in which they also both played.

The PGM had one lesson to read !

Right:
W.Bro Chris Lee is shown with his B flat bass Tuba,
Mrs Jean Lee with her euphonium, and Peter Connolly
sandwiched between them!

This was the first time the Marshside Band had
played at this annual Carol service and, together
with the first class organ, it was a musical experience
not to be missed.

Watch out for next year's Carol concert .
